Clint Dempsey became the first US player to score a hat-trick in the English premier League today, as Fulham cruised to a 5-2 win versus Newcastle. At this point, Dempsey’s name is one of the first to go on the team sheet and he has been particularly effective this season with 9 EPL goals.
Currently, Dempsey is wearing the Court Purple/Metallic Luster/Magenta colorway in the Nike Superfly III range (also available in the more economical Vapor VII range). I would suspect that Nike are currently pretty pleased with his performances and as the poster boy for US soccer, there might just be a new personalized pair of “Deuce” boots getting ready for release!
